MedConnect Latam S.A.S. also informs you, as the data subject, that you have the right to the privacy of your personal information. Therefore, please be informed that the personal and financial data collected is stored using secure and reliable technological means designed to prevent accidental data breaches. The data will be subject to the following processing: (i) collect, store, and verify personal data (name, ID, phone number, email, contact address); (ii) use or circulate the data for a reasonable and necessary period; (iii) transfer data to third parties for marketing purposes and transmit it to contractors for proper service delivery; (iv) verify data to ensure accuracy and/or for collection purposes, and share/consult information with credit bureaus if necessary; (v) delete data when no longer needed.

The information collected may also have the following purpose, application or objectives: (i) for its storage in databases of MedConnect Latam SAS(ii) to establish, maintain and provide feedback on the business relationship; (iii) to ensure the effectiveness and security of the transactions carried out in MedConnect Latam SAS; iv) To ensure the protection and exercise of their rights as well as those of MedConnect Latam SAS and/or its contractors to the extent possible in accordance with the treatment carried out by MedConnect Latam SAS(v) to fully comply with the contracted services; (vi) to carry out activities necessary to manage inquiries and complaints submitted and direct them to the responsible area; (vii) to send information on commercial offers of services of MedConnect Latam SASas well as to develop marketing, statistical, research, commercialization, and/or other commercial service purposes that are provided or may be provided or offered, provided they do not contravene Colombian law; (viii) for the transmission of any financial, commercial, credit, or service-related information; (ix) for strengthening commercial relationships by sending relevant information, taking orders, addressing requests, complaints, and claims, as well as for conducting quality assessments; (x) for verifying balances, invoicing, and collecting payment for contracted services; (xi) for verifying compliance with legal and/or contractual obligations; (xii) for improving and promoting the service provided by the company; (xiii) for responding to judicial or administrative requests and for complying with judicial or legal mandates; (xiv) for the transmission of personal data to third parties with whom contracts have been entered into for the purpose of performing and fulfilling the service offered through MedConnect Latam SAS(xv) to manage all the information necessary for compliance with tax obligations and commercial, corporate and accounting records; (xvi) to send information about new products or services, news and other information that MedConnect Latam SAS deems appropriate; (xvii) to share personal data with service companies or outsourcing companies that help facilitate operations through MedConnect Latam SAS, which include payment methods, insurance, or payment management intermediaries; (xviii) for any requirement made by the Financial Superintendency in compliance with the circulars issued for the processing of personal data; (xix) to verify credit ratings with any other financial, commercial, civil, national, or foreign entities or with national or foreign credit bureaus; (xx) to execute mandate activities in accordance with any contracts entered into by the data subject with MedConnect Latam SAS(xxi) to inform contractors or workers of MedConnect Latam SAS for the purpose of carrying out activities related to the provision of the required services; (xxii) to inform third parties who control matters related to hosting, software, source code and any other elements necessary for the development of the Platform; (xxiii) to analyze the behavior of the data subjects who have acquired services provided by MedConnect Latam SAS with the objective of providing better service or developing commercial campaigns under the understanding of the owners on the Platform; (xxiv) to make telephone calls, send text messages to cell phones, send emails or contact the owners through the means and mechanisms provided on the Platform to offer the services acquired or new services of MedConnect Latam SAS(xxv) if necessary, to transmit or transfer the personal data of the data subjects, who accept in a formal and prior manner that MedConnect Latam SAS may carry out or execute such legal acts; (xxvi) to share the personal data of the data subjects with legal entities abroad, shareholders, legal representatives or any other persons who so require in the development and execution of the services that were contracted by the data subject and for the use of the Platform; (xxvii) to communicate with the data subjects to learn about the user experience and receive complaints, opinions, claims, as well as make calls aimed at resolving said experience on its platforms or any other platforms produced or created by MedConnect Latam SAS
Regarding sensitive data, MedConnect Latam SAS This type of data will only be collected with prior authorization, when such authorization is necessary and proportionate for the execution of the contractual relationship between you and the third parties where the required products and/or services are purchased and offered, provided that the law permits access to your sensitive information. You acknowledge and accept that your personal data may be made available to the personnel responsible for the corresponding work within the company, without excluding the possibility of being transferred to managers, consultants, advisors, external persons and offices as necessary to fulfill the aforementioned purposes.
At any time, you may exercise the rights granted to you by law, including: (i) knowing, updating, and rectifying your personal data before the data controllers or processors; (ii) requesting proof of the authorization granted to the data controller, except when expressly exempted as a requirement for processing, in accordance with the provisions of current legislation; (iii) being informed by the data controller or processor, upon request, regarding the use that has been made of your personal data; (iv) revoking the authorization and/or requesting the deletion of the data when the processing does not respect the constitutional and legal principles, rights, and guarantees; (v) filing complaints with the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce for violations of the provisions of Law 1581 of 2012; and (vi) accessing your personal data that has been processed, free of charge.
